New Policies for Customers and Dealers

With the changes in our company direction we must also adapt our company policies to agree with the new conditions and operation.

Hours of Operation: Our business work week is Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM ET, excluding national holidays or inclement weather. Because of the smaller staff you may be greeted by a telephone answering machine. Please leave your name and number and we will respond at the earliest possible time. New Shipping Address. Our flexible employee work schedule means there may be no one available to receive your package for repairs or returns. Please address your packages to SMART Devices, Inc. PMB 342, Habersham Hills Circle, Cornelia, GA 30531-5319. We accept FedEX, UPS, DHL, and USPS packages.

Limited WARRANTY Repair:

Our "Terms and Conditions of Sale" published on the dealer price list states we will repair or exchange a product (at our option) within one year of the date of purchase if the product has not been abused, modified, or damaged during shipment or natural disaster. Please see the full terms on the back of any SMART dealer price list.

In the future we will repair and return the product during the warranty period of one year. We will no longer stock exchange units to send. In a few cases where we may have a unit to exchange will be billed for the exchange unit and credited within 30 days when the original unit is returned (undamaged) to our stock. Dealers should have similar substitute products to offer the customer until their product can be repaired. Product over one year old will be repaired and charged for the repairs and return shipping.

Repair Charges:

Repairs will be made on a CASH basis that must be paid before the product is returned via company check or credit card.

Products that are over one year old will repaired under the conditions listed above. Return shipping charges will be added to the repair charges.

All shipping damage must be reported to the carrier on the receiving end. ICC laws does not allow us to make a claim on the sending end.

Inspection Charges:

Products returned for repair that are marked "Quote repair charges before repair" will be charged a flat $70 charge for one hour of technician time and return shipping. Customer will be notified of the repair charges. If the customer wishes to have the product repaired after inspection there will be no inspection charge added to the repair charges.

Loricraft Dealers:

We can no longer offer a co-op price to dealers on Loricraft products. Dealers may purchase Loricraft machines and add a mark-up for handling and local support to customers.
